Archivelogs in flash recovery area deleted right after backup

 Hi,

I am running Oracle Database 10g Release 10.2.0.3.0 - 64bit Production Standard Edition on Linux version 2.6.9-42.0.8.ELsmp (brewbuilder@ls20-bc1-14.build.redhat.com) (gcc version 3.4.6 20060404 (Red Hat 3.4.6-3))

I am using the flash recovery area for my archivelogs only and my flash recovery area is 20GB :

*.db_recovery_file_dest='/oraarch/oracle/flash_recovery_area'

*.db_recovery_file_dest_size=21474836480

I am generating about 5 GB of archivelogs per day

I am doing by backup with RMAN, here are my settings ("show all" command) :

using target database control file instead of recovery catalog

RMAN configuration parameters are:

CONFIGURE RETENTION POLICY TO REDUNDANCY 1;
