3rd Party Performance Monitoring tools

 I used Quest Performance Analysis years ago. It was very helpful to spotting problems.  I would like to have something now in addition to OEM.   What if any 3rd Party Performance Monitoring tools do any of you recommend or warn against?

For those of you who don't use 3rd party Performance monitoring tools and only use OEM, can you direct me to examples of OEM being optimally configured for long term Performance tracking.  

Additionally I would like to identify the worse performing code with its frequency of use and values for run duration.  Does anyone have any recommendations?
