Trying to guess how long it will take to use RMAN convert to migrate a 1.2TB database from HPUX 11.1

 I am dealing with a client who would like to migrate their ERP database from HPUX 11.11 to RHEL 5.3 and I was planning to use RMAN to do so, I find out about the endian differences, so I know I have to use the extra step to convert the endians, and for now just trying to plan for the project.

My question to the group will be:  Do any of you ever use RMAN to migrate using convert, and what experiences you can share?

And more important, how long it took you to do your convert, size, server used and time to just convert?, thanks
