Oracle EBS & Linux 5 security updates

 We are running EBS 11.5.10.2 on RHEL 5.2. Searching metalink I've not found much information regarding the impact of applying Linux security updates on EBS servers. I'm looking for notes on procedures to follow - for instance when relinking is required, Also, if any OS updates should not be applied - for instance kernel updates from 5.2 to 5.4. Any feedback would be appreciated.
