Oracle 9i/10g client on AIX POWER 6 CPU

Hi!   I'm trying to find a Platform Guide for AIX which will give me an indication whether Oracle 9.2.0.4 client or 10.2.0.4 client are supported on AIX 5.3 POWER 6 CPU or not.

We have an OCI application that ran fine with either client on AIX 5.3 POWER 5, but once we moved it to a POWER 6 then we started to see memory growth and application hanged.  Since both clients are older than POWER 6 release, so they might not be suitable for POWER 6 CPU.  Is there a document that can tell me whether they are supported or not?  The Installation Guide for either only stated operating system level but never stated POWER CPU level.
