Warehouse Management in a Disconnected environment
Did any of you use Warehouse Management in a disconnected environment? If so, please let me know how you could achieve this feature. For example, a receiving clerk receiving parts utilizes a handheld (with WMS receiving tasks) in a wireless environment. For some reason, if he goes out of range of the wireless network, can he still perform his tasks with the last sync data on the handheld as long as it does not call for any validation back to the core Oracel eBS? Consider utilizing R12 capabilities with WMS, MSCA, MWA modules etc.
Also did any of you utilize Oracle Lite to get the store & forward capabilities for WMS or other modules like eAM, WIP, cMRO, Depot Repair, etc? Per current release documentation Oracle Lite does not support any other module except for MFS (Mobile Field Service).
