Databases on Grid Control not connecting.

I am running EMGC 10.2.0.5 on RHEL 5.4.

I have a number of DB instances on the same server.  Normal processing of the databases shuts them down at about 2:00 am for (cold) backups then restarts them when the backup is complete.  This normally only takes a few minutes.

At least one of the databases get stuck on GC as "The database target is currently unavailable."  The database page shows it as open, but no data is flowing through to OMS.

How do I get the single database to reconnect to the OMS?
