 Hi,
Before raising an SR I want to know if we are encountering the following Bug 3063996  Frequent log switches can occur in RAC if a thread closes. I came on this one after a discussion in the Toad-forum about the logswitchfrequency map.

Case: we have a Linux RAC-cluster and a database with only one instance active.

Information of v$thread:

10:55:19 > nl@XXXP > select * from v$thread;

V$loghist for the last 2 hours show:

11:40:18 > nl@XXXP > select * from v$loghist where first_time>sysdate-1/12;

Howdy, Stranger!
