Security by Book

 Hi all

I setup security by books and the functionality were working ok in Dev. Now I migrated the setups to Test and i am getting a different result. When ever i click find on the Asset work bench without selecting a book using the top organisation, I dont get the and error message telling me that i have to select a book. in stead the form opens with all the assets. Can anyone say why i am not getting that prompt?

Is there a updated white paper for security by books? If yes how can i access it?
