Export/Import AAD Process questions

 This is a critical question that must be answered before 12/23/2009 to meet Integrated Master Schedule for ECSS Program.  If a new SLAM is created with a new AAD and related sublelements, The assumption is that the first time you run the export/import process the target instance will simply add the new SLAM, AAD and related sub-elements into the target instance. Is this assumption correct?

 The question is, if a change is made to a sub-element in the source system (e.g. new Journal line definition or new ADR associated to the existing AAD), what happens in the target system if an export is run from the source with the modified sub-elements but identical AAD name and subsequently imported into the target system?  I've check the implementation guide and some metalink links but the outcome is not clear to me.
