10g database hot backup

 I know in the hot backup mode ,you usually put the tablespace in backup mode and then copy the datafile to different location and then put the tablespace back to online mode.

My temp tablespace does not have the normal datafile. It was created with tempfile. Do I still need to backup the tempfile at all when I do the hot backup of the entire database? If so, does it still backup the same way as other tablespace with the normal datafiles?
