Linux mail - sending it out thru another server
Hi
currently we have a database server on Linux X64 5.2
The IP address is 10.10.10.1. We also have an application server on Linux with IP address of 10.10.15.1
The network administrators have blocked out outgoing SMTP from the database server
Outgoing SMTP is allowed from the appplication server
Is there a way that on the database server, we route the outgoing SMTP thru the application server?
The idea is that when we send the e-mail out from the db server, it goes to the application server and
then goes out to outside world
Thanks
