Unix Style RMAN scripts on Windows?

 Hi,

I have implemented Production Oracle 10g R2 RAC on Windows 2008 servers.

For implementing RMAN , is it ok to use Unix/Linux Style scripts on the Windows 2008 servers after installing MKS toolkit or cygwin s/w which provides the Unix environment (like in EBS)?

It seems to be working on my Test server but not sure if it’s ok to implement on Production servers.

I am finding it tedious to implement RMAN scripts using Windows batch files.

Please advice.
