Contract Item Type

 We will be retiring the Service Contracts module in 2010 and using OM strictly to handle all of our subscription type items.  Currently all items that are added to a contract in the service contracts module are defined in Inventory as Subscription User Item Type and Contract Item Type.  We will be converting these items to Service User Item Type and Contract Item Type.

I need to understand what impact this might have on existing open contracts.  If anyone could provide any insight on this, I would greatly appreciate it.
