Material Transaction Interface - Oracle error - One or more transactions failed for this group of re

 Lately we are experiencing Transaction Interface getting error with error_code as "Oracle error" and error_explanation as "One or more transactions failed for this group of records."  We are not populating the Interface table with transaction_batch_id. Hence these are not processed as group. Even then we are encounter the above message.
 Mostly this happen to WIP transactions.

 Please help me to understand, what can cause this error and how to overcome this?
