Data Guard in Oracle 11g and transactions with BLOB

1. How the transactions where BLOB column insert/update is included as part of the transactio?
2. Is it possible to exclude some of the tablespaces in the process of applying transported archive log on standby database?
2.1 I have in mind to provide BLOB recovery some other way
2.2 Would it be more suitable to use BFILE instead of BLOB to provide integrity on standba database?
Thank you for any hint, reference to articles or idea
