Tax Rate Code created with a trailing space

We have discovered that a few of our Tax Rate Codes that have been set-up but there is a trailing space on the end of it. So my development team are experiencing issues when interfacing from another system.

There is no option to update the Tax Rate Code in the application.

Does anyone know how this can be fixed ?
