Any problems with reopening the last accounting period of the year?

 We are on EBS 11.5.10.  We accidently closed our December 2009 GL period which happens to be the last period of our fiscal year.  We have reopened it and are continuing with year end processing and closing.  Does anyone know if the close/reopen steps will cause any problems?  Is there anything else we need to do or look out for as we close 2009?  Thanks for any insights!
