Recommended WebLogic Portal (WLP) patches to improve the performance of UCM VCR Adapter.

The following patches improve performance of the UCM VCR Adapter, and are recommended for all customers using this feature. All patches are dependent on PatchSet Update 10.3.1.0.2 (patch ZKHC).

  1. GYDR: Bug 8792427 - Enables fine-grained locking when a user connects to UCM via the VCR.
  2. R9D6: Bug 8807492 - Enables caching of "null" service requests; this reduces the number of calls to services.getservices()
  3. HXC4: Bug 8826058 - General performance improvements to the UCM SPI
  4. YELX: Bug 8822624 - Improves concurrency of the UCM SPI in multi-user, high volume situations
  5. BKPM: Bug 8495519 - Reduces likelihood of UnsupportedRepositoryOperationException errors under high volume usage of the UCM SPI. Note: This is a pre-requisite for patch YELX.
