Hi, Currently we have created a data guard standby for our production server. In case of disaster in production site we would shift to standby server. Now we want to know that when we are on standby server which will become primary server for users. There is no data guard for this standby server which has become primary. The moment we will open the standby server it will start creating the archives with new series and to apply them on third server we would need the cold backup of standby server.

Now we want to know that is there any other way using which we can pre configure the third server in advance so that we need not take the cold backup of the standby database after we open it at the time of disaster.
