Dear All,
I have read about Bi directional Streams Replication.....
I have two Oracle 10.2 Servers lrc1, lrc2
when i am trying to configure Streams , i have faced the problem that both have same global database name
'ORCL.REGRESS.RDBMS.DEV.US.ORACLE.COM' and global_names parameter is true...
so when i am creating database link on lrc1 to lrc2 with service naming "rempri"... database link (streamss) created but when i am trying to test it was giving an error Ora:02085....
and says that STREAMSS.REGRESS.RDBMS.DEV.US.ORACLE.COM is trying to connect ORCL.REGRESS.RDBMS.DEV.US.ORACLE.COM...
