Siebel support of AIX 6.1 - now supported!

From all documentation I can find on Metalink, including Statement of Direction, MR releases, etc, I can find no mention of any definite support of AIX 6.1 for Siebel 8.1.1 or higher.
The only mention I found was ID: 844872.1, which said that CR # 12-1RHR10N was raised to address the issue, but I have no ability to see internal CRs.

Does anyone know the plans for Siebel to support AIX 6.1? Has there been any official release date given?

AIX 6.1 has been available for a long time, and is actually the standard version at our government client, but trying to get Siebel installed on it is met with all sorts of errors, and install scripts are only looking for AIX 4 or AIX 5. Otherwise, uname commands that return a 6 breaks it all.
