FAMAPT and FAPGADJ

 Version : R12.0.6

Does FAMAPT lock the entire fa_books table? Can't we run FAPGADJ on different set of data?

Example :

1) Submit mass additions program

2) From workbench try to reclass an asset into a group - this will throw a message that we have to wait till mass addition completes.

I understand that the restriction in 2) is ok, if via 1) we are doing anything to the group being hit in 2) but an overall restriction , is it intended?
