Upgrade from OAS to Weblogic Server for JDE

We are on the tool release 8.98.2.0 which is ceritfied for  Weblogic Server.Would like to know the exprience of the Upgrade and if the Weblogic suite provides similar functionality like OAS and the other addons like oracle  Web cache works with it.
