Hyperion Application Link Upgrade

All,

I am a newbie to HFM and have been tasked with upgrading HAL 7.3.  The question is, do we go DIM or ODI?  What is the migration path?  Is there any documentation out there on the subject?  What are the hardware implications?  We are version 9.0.1.2 of  Hyperion Financial Reporting and 4.1.1.2.0 of HFM.

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated!
