Auto accounting-HR Costing Information

We have a 7 segment GL key flex field structure COMP-BU-SITE-CC-ACCOUNT-IC-IB.

Company segment is derived from the project number,account segment from exp type and the IC,IB values are default.

My question-what is the best way to map the BU-SITE-CC to the EXP ORG for the auto accouting to generate the KFF.I know we can create look up sets but that will be lot of maintenance.

Can we use the HR costing information in the exp org set up? 

Any suggestions are appreciated.
