How to charge tax to project
Our company is all about projects. When we buy supplies, the cost should get charged to the client project that the supplies were for, including any tax on the purchases. When tax is calculated on an invoice matched to a taxable PO, the system by default takes the tax amount out of the distribution line and puts it in tax expense (credit account used on distribution, debit tax expense.)
The question is, how do we make the tax amount stay with the distribution account so that the amount gets charged to the project, and gets picked up when we run project costing? There is only one default tax account on tax rate setup. Is there a Workflow or Account Generator that can build the tax account?
