Change in data sorting after migrating from 11i to 11g

We recently upgraded our database from 11i to 11g.  Previously, the accounts payable invoices (in invoice inquiry screen) sorted based on date.  Now, there seems to be no logical order to the sorting of invoices on the screen.  Has anyone seen this?  Is there a fix?
