Creating Oracle corruption in a test database.

 Is there a way to create Oracle database corruption in a test database?

I know this is a weird request but we are wanting to test a failover type software to our high availability db and we want to create corruption in the source db in hopes that the corruption will not replicate to the failover db. 

Does this make sense?  I would guess other companies are concerned about this type of problem.
