Inventory unassigned from Delivery while shipping

 Hi All,

We tried to ship some order lines (Picking status : Staged/Pick confirmed) we received following warnings:

"Warning:Some deliveries selected for ship confirm have errors or warning
Warning:Delivery details 516154 in this delivery do not satisfy inventory controls
Warning:Ship confirm option selected will un assign all the lines from delivery 233886"

We then checked the picking process and move order transaction in inventory and found that no transaction has occurred there.

what I understand from this is inventory could not be moved to the staging subinventory or reservations could not be made for the order but don't know why?.
