Want to stop OEM agent from starting automatically on reboot

  On our linux X86_64 server,  we have Oracle Enterprise DB 10.2.0.4 DB running along with the OEM agent version 10.2.0.5.  The OEM manager for the host and it's target's is on a different server.  Recently, the agent server failed due to a disk error and when it was restarted, the OEM agent started automatically.  We do not want this.  We want to always restart the agent manually. 

   I have googled this question and looked through Oracle documentation and cannot find any reference to why the product/application is getting started automatically or what to change so that it does not start automatically in the future.  Any help is appreciated.
