Is there an API for inserting/updating Approval Assignments and Approval Group data in the Oracle

Hi,

We have a requirement for automating the creation of position(Position based Hierarchy) and Approval assignements.

The API for creation of position is : ghr_position_api.create_position

Is there an API for inserting/updating Approval Assignments and Approval Group data in the Oracle
Purchasing module? 

The API should directly update below tables:

PO_POSITION_CONTROLS_ALL <br/>PO_CONTROL_GROUPS_ALL <br/>PO_CONTROL_RULES

The navigation in the application to access this data is:
1) For the 'Approval groups', go to Setup > Approvals > Approval Groups
2) For the 'Approval Assignments', go to Setup > Approvals > Approval Assignments  .
