Item getting backordered

   I am doing the transaction for an item having prmotion as attached modifier , The main item is getting backordered,

The deatils in availability of item are as below:

On Hand qty- 15750

Qty Reservable- 4943

I have punched sales order of 5 qty, as the qty is available for reservable so i should not get the message that qty is not available for reserving.

The earlier order of same item for 5 qty is backordered, I tried to Launch pick release for earlier order but still that order is in backordered status.
