DMS: Newbie: Howto setup test server based on prod application data + prod repository data?

 Hello Forum...
In order to learn (from scratch) Oracle Lite, I want to setup a copy of our production OL server, a copy of application data, and a copy of the OL server repository.  I'm most concerned about the repository - is it possible to copy it and make that copy be the basis of a new OL server installation?
Can anyone point me to some documentation that describes the steps involved?
