Looking for tips on optimal searching in My Oracle Support
Back when Classic MetaLink was still available, I performed several searches for various issues in both Classic and the new My Oracle Support to compare the results. To be sure there were no typos in my search criteria I copied my criteria from a Word document and pasted it into each search. I was also careful to select “all sources”, but I did exclude the Forum in Classic. The searches in Classic typically returned more results and more accurate results. I thought this was happening because My Oracle Support was still 'under construction', but now I am not so sure.
