Price Updates Automatically

I edited the price which was defaulted from the price list. As soon as i saved the line the price i entered changed into a new price i tried with different prices and there was no pattern visible whatsoever on the basis of which maybe the pricing engine is changing prices. Any idea???

 The price which i entered on the order line changes as soon as i save the record. Any idea???
