Configuring Oracle Net for a clone
Hi,
Here's a summary of my environments.
Environment 1 (production)
Server : (DNS=SRV1) on W2K3, on a production network
database : SID=DB1, entreprise edition, 10.2.0.1
Environment 2 (test)
Server : (DNS=SRV1) on W2K3, on a test network, same domain than Environment 1
database : SID=DB1 , standard one edition, 10.2.0.4
If I create the Environment 2, is there a risk of conflict with environment 1 ?
(For example users could access test database instead of prod database)
If yes, How could I configure Environment 2 to avoid the conflict (tnsname, listener,...)
Rgds
