10g or 11g on Windows 2008 R1 -- good, bad, or ugly

I manage a couple PeopleSoft systems.  Our HR system runs on Windows server 2003.  The entire stack lives on a single server (database, appserver, scheduler, webserver).  We are in the process of upgrading and have decided to upgrade to 8.50/9.1.  I am considering also upgrading the OS to Windows 2008, but it appears Oracle has not certified 2008 R2 (the "Windows 7" version of that release) so we would have to upgrade to 2008 R1 SP1.

Does anyone have experience running 10 or 11g on 2008 R1?  Good experience?  Bad experience?  Same as any other OS?  Any other advice you can offer?

Howdy, Stranger!
