Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Hi,

Can I export Oracle 8i (Sun Solaris) and import the dump into Oracle 9i ( HP UX) ? Please let me know the steps involved in this.

Can I do this migration using cold backup as well? ( cold back up of 8i and dump into Oracle 9i)??
