OracleJVM installation and xml

 I need to install OracleJVM into an existing db.  I know I have to run the initjvm.sql script and be sure I give some memory to the java_pool, but I was told I also need to run the initxml.sql script.  I haven't seen this in any of the doc I have been reading, is this really the case?
