Upgrade with invalid objects in sys and system

 Hello,
We are looking to upgrade a 9i database to 11g.  I have 49 invalid sys objects and 7 invalid system objects.

Can I do the upgrade with these invalid objects or do I need to run catalog.sql and cataproc.sql before the upgrade?  The database seems to be working fine with no problems.
