Consignment

Hi,

I'm looking for a standard solution to ship and sell consigned inventory to customers.  Currently we use a sales order customization to move the items from finished goods to a consignment subinventory.  We do this so the items don't get reserved by another customer order.  Upon notifcation of a sale, a 2nd sales order is entered to book the sale.

Metalink notes mention that sales agreements and internal orders can be used for this but have never used that functionality.  Any advice you can provide would be great.
