Incorrect GL Date in cdl

Hi All

We have very strange issue here.  We are having Project period enhanced processing set to yes. Do not maintain common PA & GL periods.

Now; The GL & PA period in AP & Projects are closed for Dec -09.

We run cost distribution process & then interface program from PA to AP.

Interestingly some transactions (transfers done in PA) incorrectly get GL date as 12/01/09 & period as Dec-09 (even if its closed in both the applications) in the cost_distribution_lines table. AP data looks fine with correct posting whereas gl_date in Projects is incorrect (December-09)

Has anybody seen this behaviour? What situation can lead to this result?
