downloading patches in OEM

I decided to try the 10G feature to let OEM keep track of my patches.  I made the appropriate selections  with Release and Platform and left the dates open.  When the job completed, I received 402 patches.  Not only is my platform chosen but there are many patches under the platform "Generic".  Does this mean they would apply as well?
Also, instead of trying to review all 402 patches, is there a master patch I can apply to bring me up to date, if so , how do I go about getting it. 

We are 10.2.0.4 in LInux itanium.
