X server issues on AIX at boot time

Hi,

We are looking after an AIX server where for the application server to run properly, someone has to go and log in on the console and leave the session logged in. I am assuimg this is to start the X server on the AIX machine, but this seems to be a very clunky procedure at best!

Does anyone know of the issue that is being addressed and a better way of addressing it? We are remote from the machine room, and even though re-boots are infrequent,  when they do happen, getting the the machine room is a pain full and seemingly uneccessary process.
