Oracle on Linux using NAS disks

edited Feb 3, 2010 2:11AM in Database Administration (MOSC) 1 commentAnswered
We have a two Linux server Veritas cluster using NAS storage and the database trying to start on both servers.  The NAS storage is visable to both servers in the cluster.  The database starts successfully on one of the servers but then fails when trying to mount on the second server due to not being able to get a lock on the control file.  We would like to prevent this from happening.  Does anyone have any suggestions on how to prevent this from happening?

Howdy, Stranger!
