Grid Control / Monitoring Host File System - Is it possible to have granular control of the alert me

We use the Grid Control in a Unix environment

Select Target [Host] > Related Links > All Metrics > Metric Thresholds > Filesystem Space Available (%)

Many mount points have stable usage -- datafiles with no auto-extend. Many of these mount points have less than 5% free space. We would like to set alert thresholds very low to eliminate receiving CRITICAL alerts.

Some mount points are used for log files or backup files or import / export or report files. These mount points Space Available varies from > 20% Space Available to < 2% Space Available. It would be useful to alter the thresholds on an individual mount point basis.

We have tried using Blackouts - but that allows a threat to go un-reported / un-notified. Our goal is to use host monitoring for Filesystem Space Available (%) but at this time we are generating too many false positive alert notifications.

Howdy, Stranger!
