10.2.0.2 -> 10.2.0.4 Upgrade Question

 Hello.  After successfyll running the manual procedures to upgrade our Oracle version from 10.2.0.2 to 10.2.0.4, the banner still reads v10.2.0.2 when logging into sql*plus.  No errors were encountered during the upgrade and the script says the operation completed successfully.   Not sure what to do.  Any help is appreciated.
