Ebusiness SSO Microsoft Active Directory integration

Hi,

I wish to integrate R12 with Microsoft ActiveDirectory through Oracle SSO. 

After doing this,  to access Oracle eBusiness Suite R12 through Microsoft IE,

1.  Have I to enter the user id and password again in the Oracle SSO screeen in the browser

or

2. There won't be any  login screen and directly the R12 url will take me to the responsibility listing based on my network login id.

I want to mention that I won't be using Oracle Portal.
