What do I need to do to Grid Control when upgrading the OS from RHEL4 (32bit) to RHEL5 (64 bit) ?
I've got a full 32 bit 10205 Grid Control installation on a single linux x86 server running RHEL4. My OS guys are pushing to move to 64bit linux x86-64 / RHEL5 and I'm struggling to find appropriate documentation about how Grid will cope if the OS is upgraded underneath it.
I doubt it's simply a process of installing the 64 bit version of the database software and migrating the database, so can anybody point me at the appropriate documentation, so I can find out which bits of Grid needs upgrading, and which don't ?
